It's not even the server/instance limits that get me, it's the gameplay limits inherent with multi-crew (in the SC style) that really sink the prospects for me. How do you have compelling or even mildly interesting gameplay for the 36 non-captains on the Idris? What the gently caress are these people supposed to do while Captain Whale Sperglord putters around the 'verse?

Like sock puppets. A puppet made out of an old sock, the toe portion folded in to make the puppets mouth. You would add eyes and other decorations if you were feeling progressive.
