The GMO and nuclear energy positions Bernie has are things I wholly disagree with. Thorium joke posts about it but I've been a fan of them Thorium reactors for a while, even before I knew of Bernie Sanders. Nuclear energy is one of those words that have an insane amount of fear associated with them. You know, like communism and socialism. But when you ask people why they're afraid of nuclear energy they give you the stuff they heard from anti-nuclear rhetoric. Unfortunately, what we are using now are inefficient plants using expensive fuel. With GMOs, having them on a label is whatever. But practically everything we digest is a GMO these days. If you like corn then you're eating a man-made vegetable. Natural corn does not look like the stocks we eat.
