My favourite lip flaps/voices not matching up is in metal gear solid 3 when it zooms in on The Boss' face and she's blabbing for 10 seconds before saying Run!

The FFX voice acting's not great, but it's not a complete shitshow and they fixed all of their problems in X-2 which was an improved localization on all fronts.

Didn't MGS2 and FFX come out around the same time, too? I prefer MGS2's voice-acting. On the other hand, you had stuff like Onimusha Warlords which I hope they intended to be silly because boy was it ever.

Tidus' narration makes me feel like I'm playing a The Wonder Years RPG. Actually the narration and like the different announcers are so good that it makes it really apparent how much of the "badness" comes from them trying to conform the audio to the animation.
