Another auction keeper league offer for my last place team...

Give Goldschmidt (no real 2017 keeper value) for Syndergaard, who will be $15 and $18 the next two seasons. I suspect that his value is at least $30 in this league, so there's pretty good excess value. Any reason not to like it?

Edit: to be clear, I like this trade because it's 2.66 years of Syndergaard for .66 Goldshmidts.

Depends on how you think the rest of your season will go. However, even with that assessment, I am super high on Syndergaard and think he will be one of the best starters in the league.

Is Fielder broken or done or something? He got dropped in one of my pro leagues and fell to me with my 6th waiver priority.

What concerns me is that he's 32, and his power seems to have disappeared (currently slugging BELOW .300). On one hand, it's hard to believe that he's fallen off a cliff this badly, on the other, it's not exactly rare for guys like him to decline rapidly.

I have finally moved on from my Adam Wainwright and Yordano Ventura experiments. This was Ventura's 3rd year on my roster and I'm psyched for him to turn into the second coming of Pedro now that I've finally given up.

It's a problem you think we need to explain ourselves.
Someone offered me Jose Abreu and Jarrod Dyson for Trevor Story and Drew Smyly, and though Abreu should be the best player in the deal, I'm thinking of passing.

Story has sort of cemented his place as a mainstay in the lineup now, and Smyly is real good, despite a couple bad starts.

I have Lindor at SS and Fielder at 1B currently. Though I'm actually last place in steals, so technically this could boost me up in the standings.

He was one of the best players in fantasy baseball like 2 years ago before getting hurt, he can't be that bad. Also Puig isn't exactly lighting it up, either.

I'd try to get someone besides Dyson since he might not play every day since he's not hitting. But still do it. Abreu is great/elite and you have a dead guy at 1B currently. Also you wont miss story that much if you have lindor.

So I've got some crowding on the left side of my infield. Right now I have Machado at 3B, Boegarts at SS, and Castellanos at utility. Ho Kang is back, and he has eligibility at 3B and SS (as does Machado). I'd like to package or trade one or two of these guys to get an upgrade at OF or a bigger bat in the U slot. Assuming I can get fair value for any, who would be your choice to start the rest of the way?

Since I have traded Frazier for Kluber on May 7th (the day the deal went through):

Frazier: .346/.452 /.962 8 R, 5 HR, 14 RBI
Kluber: 0-2, 8.68 ERA, 1.98 WHIP

I know it's an extremely small sample size, but this is just the way my season has been going. I am in my sixth week of H2H, and I haven't won once.

In one of my leagues a guy wanted Story so I sent over a multiplayer deal that was basically Story for Kluber. Thank god he refused to give up Kluber and it killed the trade.

Drop Miller asap, Karns is fine to pick up, but looks like you need saves.

Yordano has considerable upside; he was great in his rookie year and the second half last year. He's enigmatic though, very hard to know what is going on and if he'll turn it around or not. I'm holding but I've seen him dropped, and I would drop for the right pickup probably.

so what's the over/under on games I'm gonna have to start Chris Owings over Rougie? I'm thinking at least a week if not two

And I would say that's worse since an ump is trying to stop him and there's basically 0 provocation. So I'd guess 8 games.

I drafted him as a rookie and have kept him through last season and into this year. I just gave up on him, but I'm also burning a roster spot on Urias, so I guess that's a bit of an easier decision for me to make.

I'm fully aware that now that I've given up on him, he's going to turn into an ace.
