Sorry, guys, maritime flag, no refunds.

I THINK, in their twisted world, what they're trying to say is.

When you 'pledge' originally, it is a 'deposit' towards making the game.

If you don't bail out and get a refund soon after (read: within a matter of day's I'm sure) they consider the pledge or deposit to be 'earned' by the hard working multinational corporation that is CIG, and such the funds are already earmarked for development (read: another 5k couch for :ben: to sit his fat rear end on)

But that being true they should have a monthly accounting to show where all the pledges are going, and here we stand.

This forum is for comedy. CIG is a joke, and you have run out of lines. Perhaps you should ask Crobberts for a few, although I don't think he'll share.

You will have no sympathy or quarter from me, ever, because your company has no sympathy or quarter for anything resembling ethical business practices, human decency or moral substance.

Forgive me if I trust nothing you say in regard to your intentions. You work for CIG.

Because I am so sick of hearing that "You know nothing about games development!" canard, here is a chart that I highly recommend everyone download and distribute as needed to shut people up when they act like 4.5 years of pre-alpha development is just just par for the course.

IT ISN'T. And there are a lot of titles that started later and will deliver sooner that offer a LOT more features and content that we've seen to date.

Each title above is a direct competitive threat with Star Citizen or Squadron 42. All will be released before Star Citizen is finished. The titles above will each generate hundreds of millions of dollars on their first day of release. Star Citizen, on the other hand, has already generated and spent a great deal of its first day revenue because nearly all revenues generated to date have been pre-orders for games or for spaceship DLC.

Also- in case any of you lurkers haven't figured it out yet, SQUADRON 42 IS NOT COMING OUT THIS YEAR. OR EARLY 2017. If it was, CIG would have stuff to show at E3. It should bother you that Derek Smart is telling you things before CIG does. Do you really believe that's what "Open Development" should feel like?

He could pretty much go "Look jerks, we are loving working hard on this poo poo. We don't owe you anything. You'll be lucky if we even loving make anything. Skunkworks started sometime in 2009. Development fired up in Jan 2011 when The Outsider was canned by Codemasters. KS in Nov 2012 (after UK Kickstarter was founded Oct 2012), alpha Dec 2013, Premium Beta Jun 2014, release Dec 2014. Horizons 2.0 Dec 2015, etc.

At ED's release there were 100+ on the ED dev team, currently there are between 150-180 - the audio team for example switches between it and Planet Coaster depending on needed tasks. Total Frontier employees number around 290.

Why are you spreading these lies, citizen? It's very clearly laid out in the collective unconsciousness that these are donations to CR's glorious vision. CIG will soon be granted it's tax-exempt status as a religious organization.
