I would prefer Sabonis on Toronto to Poeltl even though I think Poeltl is a safer pick, Sabonis plays with attitude and Toronto desperately needs that if Biyombo is gone.

Poeltl seems like he's plummeting because of one tournament game. I don't think he's an all star or anything but dude can be a starting center. He's really good in the pick and roll and a solid defender.

I like him a lot, although part of it might be that I've seen him more than anyone but Simmons and Ingram. In a draft with so much risk he's pretty high on my personal big board because we know what he is, which is a rotation center.

Getting destroyed by Sabonis won't have helped. I think he's solid though.

I liked Poeltl a lot from watching Utah's tournament games. He seemed to be competent on both ends of the block and an actual good passer for a college center which is super rare. For where he's slated on draft boards I'd be totally fine with my team picking him up.
