Lovejoy's pretty bad but he'll probably be OK at less than $3M/year as a bottom pairing guy that can play some minutes without totally puking all over himself. He'll hurt the Devils if they play him almost 20 minutes a night though.

The signing bonuses are just a way for players to guarantee the money a bit more. Especially for guys who occasionally get suspended. That's a really reasonable price for Boedker. I thought he was going to be massively overpaid.
