Wait, I just watched an episode of DS9 with the klingon lawyer and he argues that Worf killed that ship full of civilians because he was bloodthirsty, as evidenced by the fact he regularly went to the holodeck and played a rape and pillage program where you slaughter a city full of innocents as a conquering horde. With the whole alamo / war simulator / neelix choking / borg choking thing is the reason the Federation works because they let everyone have purge time every day? I don't see why the lofty ideal society would allow people to be waist deep in simulated corpses between their speeches on morality.

What's the first worst DS9 episode? Where molly gets sent in a time vortex and comes out a hosed up teen and they can't deal with their cave daughter so dumb her back? My wife HATES the child actress they got for their daughter. Ever time she comes on screen she just starts yelling and hurling insults. Poor kid, but yeeesh maybe they could have found someone better. I know a lot of people give Keko poo poo but I enjoy the actress and the character makes sense given what she's married too.

He was 5 when he was adopted, I guess that's old enough to get the language and basics of the culture down. But his understanding of klingon honour and what it means to be klingon absolutely got stuck in some child-like idealized 5 year old's version of it.
