Lettuce isn't a bun. I am normally not interested in the fast food trip reports that end up in this thread, but I really want to see exactly how they handle you walking up with a QR code for one of the dumbest concoctions someone manages to put together.

What's the best s'mores flavored junk food you can get somewhat reliably? I'm curious about it now because I saw the cereal, the poptarts, Pepperidge Farm and Chips Ahoy have cookies flavored like that...

Oh come on, the American Midwest is worse. At least east Asia has whimsy and is creative at least. The Midwest is wet starch and cheese and depression

I am from the midwest, what you describe is unfamiliar to me. I grew up mostly with Italian, Chinese, and Japanese food. And barbecue. This pizza contains, from left to right: shrimp, squid or cuttlefish (same word), hot dogs, "tong bacon steak" I have no idea what that means, steak, and a crust stuffed with your choice of cranberry or apple cinnamon cream cheese. Being a Korean pizza, the crust will also be undercooked and the sauce very sweet, and I am sure there's corn and mayonnaise in there.

Midwest food is only as bad as you you look for. If you only take a cursory glance, you'll find struggle plates galore, and if you spend time looking you find all sorts of places doing great stuff, considering the glut of ingredients you can find. Also smdh if you don't like cheese.

How do I make refried beans? Maybe this "how to make refried beans" seriouseats link will have a recipe http://www.seriouseats.com/2014/04/how-to-make-great-refried-beans-recipe.html Scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll there's a link to a separate page with a recipe just above all the sponsored content links at the bottom My favorite part is the three shitsmear comparison of different refried bean textures. gently caress you. Guy writes 40 pages of stupid obvious bullshit about refrieds and can't even be bothered to go get a fresh sprig of epazote for his picture.

Protip for navigating the serious eats page: there's usually a words-words-words article that then links to the recipes. You don't have to read the whole thing, though; there's also a link to the recipe right underneath the giant splash picture at the top of the page.

I dimly recall a satiric take on the seriouseats format that had a long, drawn out story about childhoods at the lake and the actual recipe was two vague lines full of typos, anyone know what I mean and have a link ready?
