Trump also panders to a very specific voter base, which just so happens to be a large majority of republican voters. Hillary doesn't have to worry about that stuff and can go after him directly. What they need to do is allow them to have a video screen with various clips of their opponent on queue. That way when Trump says "I never said that" they can show him he did, and that way Trump can show more videos of himself.
