When I googled "sea otter," I learned that it is none other than the Enhydra Lutris! As in, SA's ~strange and mysterious~ otter-loving poster!  So...I guess I still don't know what the difference is, because I stopped reading after that, too distracted by excitement. (I even exclaimed, "Hey, I know that otter!!")

It's always sort of neat to me that dogs will go for these old, busted balls unless you throw them away. Like, you could get a who set of brand new tennis balls for them, but they'll always go for their familiar favorite so long as it hasn't completely disintegrated or disappeared. A good dog.

I guess normally it didn't leave the garden but it wandered off and they assumed a coyote had caught it. The way she tells it, one morning a few weeks later, they open the door and the cat is sitting on the stoop with a Burger King wrapper in its mouth looking pleased with itself looking for all the world like it had decided to go pick up some lunch. Came inside, never wandered away again. Kitty adventures!
