That was a legit MOTY contender from Gargano and Ciampa. Having not watched them at all in the indies and mostly seen them as a good but not great tag team, I'm really impressed and can't wait for their singles runs.

That Ciampa/Gargano match was incredible. I was sitting there just  the whole time.It, Zayn/Owens from Battleground and Zayn/Nakamura from Takeover are my top 3 for MOTY.

Tonight we got the best match of the first round and definitely the worst match of the first round. Dar and Sihra had zero chemistry and it looked like part of the match may he be even been edited. I find myself completely unimpressed with Noam Dar and I hope that ZSJ turns him into a pretzel. Jack Gallagher rules and I am glad that I now know of his greatness.

Agreeing with all of this. Dar's rolling for no reason really throws off the feel of the match.

Yeah Dar was easily the biggest disappointment of the first round. Everyone who put in a worse performance than him was one of the no-names. Unless they seriously switch things up, Dar vs. Lun is easily the second round match to be least excited about The match to be most excited about? Either Ibushi vs. Alexander or Tozawa vs. Gallagher

Ciampa and Gargano were wrestling each other on the indies for years before they ended up as a tag team in NXT, not surprised they had a great singles match. Not quite Generico/Steen levels of legendary rivalry, but they probably had at least a dozen matches across a bunch of different promotions after Ciampa left ROH. Now that I think about it Ciampa was never much of a tag wrestler on the indies to begin with, really.
