Isn't this technically a spoiler? Haven't seen it yet, but the trailers make it look like that's the goal.

It's probably a good thing. We're the ones who talked about AIDS when it was just being whispered, and we talked about civil rights when it wasn't really popular. And we, you know, we bring up subjects, we are the ones—this Academy, this group of people gave Hattie McDaniel an Oscar in 1939 when blacks were still sitting in the backs of theaters. I'm proud to be a part of this Academy, proud to be part of this community, and proud to be out of touch. And I thank you so much for this.

As someone who has worked in the animation industry, and since left it long ago, I can confirm it's largely poo poo work conditions all around. Not at a top studio? Don't expect the pay to be decent. Long work hours, no benefits, every second person a prick because they think they're the next Disney or Miyazaki. Burnout animators from back in the cel-animation days who never made it, can't leave the industry, but never shut up about how computers ruined everything. Directors who want 8 takes of every scene, because "this mouth looks weird", on a character from a show no one cares about or watches. Ridiculous deadlines from the studios that if not met, will result in tens of thousands of dollars in fines PER DAY for your production studio. Which makes anyone in a position of authority a nervous wreck or a fire-breathing rear end in a top hat. Hey, you know that scene we budgeted 6 hours of work time to complete? I need it done in 9 minutes. Oh, what's that? That's not physically possible? Well clearly that's your fault and not the deadline that makes zero sense. Promises each person a credit in the film. Film comes out, only a company credit because the boss couldn't be bothered to round up a list of staff names in the 7 months they had to do it in. Oh, but the photocopy guy at the studio got a credit. I mean, clearly he has degrees in Tonerology and Printeronomy, so he HAS to get credit. Me, bitter? Yeah. Bit him, too.

Shoulda been Madea's face but done up like the Michael Myers mask. Or if they wanted to stay with the witch theme, do a spoof on Halloween 3's poster. I like the tag line tho.

Something about the surface texture is all wrong. It doesn't look like it's that big. It looks like a little polished pebble that has been enlarged (which it probably is). Needs more greebles.
