Man I hope we re-sign Bats. Hopefully to a reasonable contract (3 years, 15 mil per, or less). But buddy has been clutch

Lowball or high ball ? I have no clue anymore. His market is limited because he is a defensive liablity in RF now. And this season wasnt very good and hurt by injuries.

He was lights out in 2015, may have set a franchise record for appearances with no runs allowed if I recall. He was injured during the ALDS and not available in the ALCS, and Loup had a family emergency so there were no lefties in the bullpen.

He has been disastrous all season this year except for this past month.

At his age 3 years is reasonable, but he'll command more dollars than that. He said some stuff last offseason (I think?) that made it sound like he was gonna go for an actual contract and his age could be damned

The rumour was 150 / 5 years. But his season has not helped that at all, and he never confirmed those are the numbers he is demanding. Id be astonished if he signed for more than a 60 or 75 mill contract 3/4 years.

Now the ump stops calling all those borderline strikes...

edit: And now a non-strike strikeout. As much as its benefitting my team. Cant wait for robot laser ump strikezones.
