For real, though, a lot of landlords have this ingrained aversion to cats because CAT PEE NEVER GOES AWAY, MY GOD, WE'LL HAVE TO BURN THE WHOLE BUILDING DOWN WHEN YOU MOVE OUT! As a side note, once you find a good landlord, just never ever move.

^^^ that program sounds awesome. My parents got some new kittens and finally brought them home. Cute brother and sister from a litter of 7:  Brian, tuxedo cat. Mischief maker and house explorer. Ari, little shadow. Quiet and cuddly. Right now her personality is merely "getting woken up by Brian because he wants to play." They spend most of the time smelling different objects in the house, or smelling my mom's hand to see if she's maybe holding food? They also have already identified the good cat TV channels:
