This argument doesn't hold up because charging for a finite number of pre-set sprays is stupendously dumb considering what it used to be in earlier versions. The possibilities were limitless and some sprays could be incredibly funny and/or gross to the rest of your team/server.

Valve is loving up CS's poo poo and making the fans pay for it. It owns.

I wonder when there'll be some kind of thing where they add new maps to the game and you can play those in matchmaking. That'd be cool. It's been like a year since they did that.

E: Oh I forgot that awful time they had Santorini in counted as an operation.

Oops! Looks like you're out of Matchmaking Tokens for today! You'll have to wait until 12 PM PST for more. Or you can purchase a package of 10 Matchmaking Tokens for $6.99!

e: jesus h christ i'm drawing comparisons between where valve is now with minimum effort money grabs and where they could easily go in the future. it's not accurate and that's the point. it's an outlandish statement that's supposed to be funny purely because we could have said the same thing about sprays a year ago and, whoops, here we are.

I wouldn't mind if they didn't work in competitive but of course they will.

Just make them only visible to your teammates, Valve. Even Overwatch got that right.

Just wait for one of the upcoming pro matches to have one of the players stick a spray in the right place to trick the enemy into shooting at the wall before getting owned and Valve will be forced to come up with some solution, even if it's as disappointing as "sprays off for pro matches".

Otherwise it's gonna be non stop pay money to trick people to shoot at this particular spray non-stop and those spray prices go thru the roof on the market.

This is a weird statement because it makes no sense that only people who prefer 1.6 would dislike the commiditization of sprays, and because it is in no way a burn on people who prefer 1.6 to say that they would dislike this version of sprays, and because generally the humor in a statement like that would be some type of contrasting behavior, like if they had charged for sprays in 1.6 it would be funny, but they didn't.

Also it's weird that you feel like you should be dropping burns on people who like 1.6 anyway. It's like console wars, but way way way more baseless, because it is the same game franchise.

Huh, I didn't realize that was the case for overwatch.

Anyways, stickers are fun, sprays are fun. The idea that they're limited use is at least funny when you consider that you're spending uses to mock the other team. One round we switched sides and our spawn had been littered with little hearts everywhere.

The way that you actually apply sprays is pretty neat if not a little overwrought, it reminds me like how you place buildings and stuff in a survival game. I dunno if CS can have stuff that's "immersion breaking" but that felt like it.

Imagine if CSGO actually had like a professionally-operated organization that structured all these events so this clusterfuck couldn't happen. And maybe a player's union too to protect the players and make sure they actually get paid and treated decently. Ha, what a crazy idea though.

Everybody "threw a goddamn fit" because the way they structured the organization was loving retarded and essentially guaranteed to facilitate corruption. Most pros have expressed a desire for more structured organization regarding tournaments, and are definitely in favor of a players union.
