Lay some more civ6 tips on me though

In my experience, having at least one of each district in your empire is vital, and you'll want to build some districts in every city. Learn the adjacency bonuses and try to exploit them, because they can make a pretty big difference.

civ is really good about easing you in, play on one of the lower difficulties (the default, prince, is pretty easy) and build your empire the way you feel like it.

I ended a game as norway in the year 1960 by crushing the other AI with tanks and jet bombers while they had crossbow and stuff and I was just messing around

not really challenging but a good way to get comfortable I guess

The right to bear arms
oh and if you want to make a big empire with lots of coin, pick a map with lots of water and build a lot of harbors so you can have 30-40 trade routes lol

If you purchase and/or install a game (not sure about the install being necessary) and the game gets removed from the steam store entirely, you'll still have the game and be able to play it. My friend got one of the worst games on steam for about 2 cents, maybe a half-cent when it was on sale. He still has it but the game no longer has a steam page.

That was my favorite part of civ two to be quite honest.

just reading the user reviews is entertainment enough. Sounds like a rad game.

So I played Penumbra and enjoyed it, although it didn't really scare me, it was more of an enjoyable puzzle/stealth game. The Halloween steam sale had Amnesia on sale for five bucks and I picked it up. That game scares me, it's really well done.

Zero Time Dilemma has peak my interest and since it's going for a good price I might as well fork over the money and have a grand ol time solving really obscure puzzles.

Bear in mind it's last game in a trilogy. I'm pretty sure the other two games aren't on Steam yet.

it is the last game in the trilogy and spoils literally everything about the last two, while its own mystery is (imho) the most shallow and unsatisfying of the series. the voice acting is cool and the cutscenes are p good (bear in mind it's ported from handhelds and the first two games just had static visual novel style pictures) but if you haven't played the first two really don't spoil it and start with ZTD

i'm p sure 999 and VLR are slated for steam release anyway, right??

Scaly Haylie

So if I buy ZTD and end up like "gee that mystery was unsatisfying maybe the first two games were better" then I just have no reason to.

an updated version of both 999 and vlr packaged as "the nonary games" has just been announced for steam q1 2017. if you have any interest in the series you owe it to yourself to play through in order

the insanity ramps up from game to game so jumping in at the end is going to be weird as poo poo too

Yikes that's a problem. I didn't realized the other two tied in all together, i thought they were all separate stories.

Well isn't that convenient for alot of us here. I think it's best picking up from the start of the series.
