The current game thread is where new people would be dropping in, and a fair amount of information on the planet you'd be starting off on is contained in the last half dozen posts or so. Ideally looking for people who can also idle in IRC so that we can speed up decision-making (#stolen on SynIRC), as I'm trying to update about twice a week. That said, if by some miracle there actually is someone who wants to DM this I remain interested in playing in the setting so that would be workable too.

Game: The Sword of the Bastard Elf - The RPG System: home made thing I'm calling Two-Fisted Fantasy (2FF). Thread includes current rulebook and is an introductory scenario so hopefully it's nothing too daunting. Players: 3 or 4. If there are already four people in the game sign up to be next in line since someone will probably die. Description: Set in a medieval dump called Bilgeton. Four talentless chumps team up to pull off an unbelievably risky caper - busting a powerful priest out of the Bilgeton hoosegow. It's a pretty low-brow comedy, should be fun. Waiting on players at the moment. There's a bit of reading involved and an unfamiliar system so might be a few days before we take off.

Just a few days past, some youths clearing a new field for planting managed to move a stubborn boulder only to reveal an ancient rune-covered dolmen that framed a narrow tunnel into the earth. Jora, the bravest among them, dared to crawl through the narrow passage and disappeared down the tunnel, only to return a short time later. From the far side of the narrow passage she excitedly told her friends a tale of moldering crypts rich in grave goods, tossing out a set of fat, heavy silver arm rings as proof. But as she was crawling from the tunnel, she was abruptly pulled back into the crypt with a bloodcurdling scream. Jora’s companions fled as quickly as their legs would carry them. But horror followed them, for now some dread thing haunts the village at night, slaying but leaving no marks save a look of terror. The people of Skogenby are desperate.
