Quit acting like the desire to see things in a better light and focus on other aspects of life besides politics is somehow criminal. You politicos are spiraling, and we'd rather not be sucked down the drain with you. Politics are not mandatory and not giving a poo poo about them makes you no less an empathetic human being. Don't hijack empathy with your politics.

looking at knives and leathermans as I wouldnt mind a better tool to back up my Charge TTI as a second set (Current back up is a really basic leatherman and its sorely lacking) A Super Tool 300 in the US is $80 The EXACT same leatherman in Australia is $205. Plus freight. Wonder what the deal with importing knives into Aus is? Also... after a proper hunting knife as dismembering and field cleaning goats with a leatherman is... not ideal.... What are Benchmade knives like? Specifically their folding blade hunting models?

A machete also wouldn't go astray but I feel I'd be added to some kind of list if I bought one. The RAV4 passed inspection and is now registered again! I'm blown away that it passed a blue slip first go. That's pretty rare. It kind of offsets the 1k+ hole in my pocket for registration and compulsory third party person insurance. It is such a loving scam. e: on the bright side, third party property only cost me about $40 for the year. Woo!

Looking at his record, if you're gay, female, poor, in prison, on drugs, or basically anything but a well-off White Christian Male Pence should probably scare you because his policy as governor has been directly against your interests at every turn. This is a man so low he argued that it was 'too expensive' for the state of Indiana to comply with federal prison standards for rape prevention. Specifically their folding blade hunting models? In my opinion, Benchmade makes the best mass-produced folding knives that there are. They don't come as sharp as, say, a Spyderco (they're all hand-sharpened for some reason, so the bevel angles are kinda wonky), but the axis lock is my favorite in terms of both convenience and strength. People have done tests, and the locks are stronger than the blade is, i.e. the blade will break before the knife will fold over on your hand. I'm not a hunter, so I can't address their suitability to that particular task, but I really like their products in general, for what it's worth.

Lord of Garbagemen posted:In late December I am going to start a long restomod of making my BH Legacy Wagon into Turbo Legacy wagon, do you all think there is enough interest for a build thread or should it just stay in the Flannel thread? The answer is always "more threads". Unless there's some horrible bug hiding in Radium's nightmare code, there's always room for more threads. Meta-chat: I don't like to come down on trying to stop topics from being discussed in the chat thread but I think at this point everyone has said their piece about the events of the past few days. I also don't think there's all that much disagreement here on the state of things, so how about we move on to less depressing topics?
