Jason Jones sounds like a smart father.

he, like any good father, just thinks the fact that he and his very progressive wife are basically leading the charge against keeping ~those people~ away from their precious children is a private matter that no one really should talk about. It's a privacy matter and really isn't that the most important thing?

he loves black people. well, the right kind of black people. the ones that went to the right schools and attend the right parties. very progressive.

it would be cool if an episode with six people were 80-90 mins instead of 60 (imo anyway), but yeah this last one was fine if a bit rushed and yes, the regular group will now be four people, so the average episode will probably have five total (including the guest)

It won't really be an issue I think since it seems usually two of the members do most of the talking while others add some quips.

I just listened to the most recent free episode and I jump a bit Matt said the Republicans were one state legislature away from having the necessary "2/3" to force through constitutional amendments. Fortunately the threshold is 3/4 and they're more like 6 away. That thought sent a loving chill down my spine though.
|
![]() |
|
They only need 2/3 to call a constitutional convention, but then it takes 3/4 at the convention to ratify any amendments. I dunno, sounds like it could be the huge clusterfuck the Republicans hang themselves with. What would they even call it for? Balanced budget amendment?

Paul Ryan is has fantasies about bringing back property requirements for voting. The religious right would probably want fetuses to have a constitutional right to life.
