When I was watching that embedded a few days ago and saw the scene my mind jumped to two things: -Conor pigging out before the first Diaz fight -This is Pettis' second fight at FW, and he came in at the limit (146) for the first one and he talked about not cutting much weight at LW, so maybe steak is not a good idea? Clearly he doesn't have experience cutting 10+ pounds.

To be fair, Travis had a lot more notice to prepare for his title shot. Until Daniel Cormier did what Daniel Cormier does, Pettis was merely preparing for a shot at being on a really long list of people Conor McGregor will never fight.
