Gave them a week to respond, no response so I filed the online complaints and sent them a second email. After that the refund was pretty well done in a matter of days since the LA DCBA had already contacted them. But that was before the "But, have you seen all the work we've done? You'll be taking food out of the mouths..." responses lately. Seems filing those complaints helps speed things up in some cases.

How does that graph make any sense. It doesn't. if their current issues count is 300, it should start on that number not "0".

I think trawling through pages and pages of ten million word posts about star citizen to laugh at them is real weird, and that also following people through their twitters to make fun of their families and interior decorations is kind of hosed up. I guess it's not doxxing anymore but it's still weird as all hell. Either way, please, don't constantly harass and follow people online because they had the wrong opinion of videogames. Don't doxx anyone, and don't send them any hateful messages.

Ah, I see what you mean. Also that chart is different to mine because it's not accumulative. But yeah, the fact that they resolved more issues than they created means that the starting value must have been non-zero. JIRA is a bit weird like that though so I'm not sure it's CIG doing anything wrong.

This is probably a stupid question but if you have the technology to build spaceships and travel faster than light do you really need a full complement of red and yellow dudes from aircraft carriers? I would have imagined that they'd have some kind of drone or computer system to do this Not that I'm questioning chris' vision or anything

Propagandist posted:Yeah but what's the value in recording a higher number of resolved issues than the number of created issues? Seems like that's the whole point. Otherwise why even plot it? It tells you whether, over a given period of time, the net quantity of issues has gone up or gone down. Of course, you could simply have a single chart showing the net issue change but it can be helpful to track things separately so you know, for example, if you have a net spike in issues whether it's because there was a sudden jump in new issues, or a temporary reduction in issue resolution.
