The Kardashians are actually fine, and most people who hate them don't have a good reason. In fact, this almost makes them cool (and Kim at least seems to have become more than a bland reality star, using her platform to address important issues like the Armenian Genocide and Taylor Swift being a phony).

That reminds me of all the people on the internet who have totally legitimate (wink wink) reasons they hate Kanye that have nothing to do with race (wink wink). Racists have ruined the word uppity. Just flat out ruined it.

Sorry, I wasn't accusing any of you of anything, that came out poorly. There's just a lot of people that get mad about hip hop because "it's all about drugs and sex and disrespecting women" while in the same breath excusing all the same poo poo from a lot of rock bands because "they seem more genuine and likeable" and white.

The best is when people call Kanye West a gangsta, which is like calling Minor Threat a bunch of drug-fueled lunatics.

There are a few images floating around that show the Kardashians and lamenting on why none of them have died this year. Anyway, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is just OK. Same with The Princess Bride.

It was pretty hilarious when there was a media storm prior and immediately after the election to crucify Taylor Swift for not educating her audiences about politics and who to vote for.

The main reason why people like the Kardashians and (at least in the past) Paris Hilton etc are so entrenched in public knowledge is the people who hate on them constantly more than the fans. The ratio of people spamming the internet with posts/articles about "why are the kardashians so popular? they are stupid and i hate them" and the people who love them and their various shows is probably 5:1. If you really hate some pop-culture thing, stop talking about it and it will go away on its own.

I pay very little attention to celebrity gossip and stuff like that, so I don't really have s big opinion on him as a person. But I think his music is awful. There's been many times when a song of his was on and I found it to be just horrible and didn't know it was Kanye until I asked. His rapping has poor flow, lacks energy and most of the time just comes off as annoying. And I don't hate rap or hip hop either. There are far lesser known rappers that are way more talented than him.

Personally I think he's a great producer, middling MC. For every great line he has two that are just embarrassing, and he should stop trying to sing.

Any movie with "vs" in the title is doomed. It will still make money though because somehow hollywood convinced people that comic book movies = worth seeing so they will watch literally anything as long as it has the comic book logo on it. Batman vs Superman still grossed over 300 million dollars, and it's not because the movie was good.

And to expand on that, a serious movie called Doctor Strange, about a wizard with with a pet cape, recently received 90% positive critic reviews, despite having less grease. It appears your premise has been debunked.

I thought pretty much everyone agreed that rapping was Dre's weakest skill and that he didn't write his own lyrics anyway. He's basically the co-lead on his own iconic album.

Any major comic movie is going to get hugely positive reviews because they know it will drive more people to go see them. If a relatively obscure movie gets 100% positive reviews it's not going to make nearly as much money as a new avengers movie that has a 97% positive rating backing it up.
