Oilers are 2nd in the Pacific and 9th in the NHL, and McDavid is tied for the points lead with Malkin. Can't wait to see how the Oilers Oiler things up in 2017.

somehow despite this being a nightmare season for the Stars, they are 4th place in their division at this time.. though that's very likely to change when Nashville gets their act together. Western Conference is quite poo poo this year.

Burmistrov had NHL ready defence and physical play coming out of junior but he never really had much offensive game. Then he went to the KHL for two years and apparently can't play defence anymore. Maybe with another team he could find his game again and be a useful bottom 6er, but I think he'll probably clear waivers and then maybe head back to the KHL

Jake Guentzel continues to own in the AHL. Oskar Sundqvist has been really good too. They kinda both belong in the NHL right now but there's just no room.
