As a result I got no evening cuddles, and she is sitting on the opposite side of the room looking suspiciously at me while she gnaws on it. If anyone approaches her she will pick it up and scurry off to another corner. Actually "suspicious" may be one of her primary emotions. One time she freaked out because there was a new political sign along our walking route.

Yo I need a Xanax and a hug My shadow was behind me and the garage door (pull up kind) slammed behind me in slow motion--no lights-- and for a split second I freaked the gently caress out and felt that pain. I'm still wound up. He cowered immediately and his tail is still kind of between his legs. Probably gonna fear garage doors for a while. He limped for a second, not sure if it hit him, but that was it.   Think we best socialize and get some snacks

I also only let Monty chew rawhides for small bits at a time. Gave him one today and took it from him an hour later. Turns out he chewed a piece of it off and hid it under the couch and he is chewing on it now. I was outsmarted by my dog. He earned it and I am going to let him finish.

Big dog and little dog waiting not very patiently for treats (sorry for crappy lighting/angle). You can see where he just got brushed (front half) and the places that aren't brushed yet because he got tired of standing up (back half, giant tufts of fur sticking out randomly). Later on, Davey got too close while Beauty was on my lap, and she bared her teeth and growled at him. He ducked his head and turned away and then kept giving me sad eyes, because he's a big softie and he just wants to be friends with her. Also, she found a spot in the snow where he'd peed. She stuck her entire head into the hole it had made.
