What are you gonna do, dance with me?

No, it has the actual most superior loadout of "superheavy vehicle with konig and ploughman and whatever the hell you want because you'll never use it"

Double Heavy mounts run dry on ammo super fast for the joys of their raw firepower. But the Campaign Huss was the first point I started laughing maniacally playing this game :getin:

This game is so close to being my favorite indie game of 2016, but it's just not quite there.

If there was an expansion I'd love to see varying numbers of weapon hardpoints, and some non-weapon options (Eg lower defence for better top speed, increase rear armor, or whatever).

I heard tell they're working on some stuff.

Also, if we're posting our prayers: I think a perk system like you described would be neat, if balanced well. I think that knocking down buildings should produce gouts of dust, and that blowing stuff up should sometimes cause slowly spreading fires that produce smoke. To combat this: A special that is a fire suppression system that spurts out a blast of fire-retardant foam or gel- it could also, as an off-label treat, slow down vehicles.

One way to increase variety of loadouts would be to allow you to deliberately mount an undersized weapon in return for more ammo space. EG you can put a Duchess into a Heavy slot, in which case it comes with 120 rounds instead of the normal 80.

That's huge exposure but I wish they didn't just default to using a gamepad, they're going to have a slowed down and inferior experience due to it and theres already been many complaints about how the controls are 'weird'. I think the tank style and free aiming cursor lend themselves much more to m/kb than gamepad but ppl see an overhead shooting game and immediately assume its a gamepad dual analog shooter so I can see why the support was put in.

On the other hand the control complaints would probably be in anyway based on the stuff that was said about how Brigador has a 1 hour learning curve before people get their head around the controls.

By the end they realize it makes way more sense with mouse and keyboard and switch to that.

Jerichal 0x03 by Captain Foo, on Flickr

'This thing, quite frankly, is ridiculous and I'm not quite sure how it stays upright when firing or even moves. It feels like someone in a department somewhere challenged their engineers (perhaps unintentionally) by saying "of course you can't strap two naval guns to a frame!" Turns out, you can, and the Jerichal proves it. Amusingly(?) most of its armor seems to be to protect the frame from its own backblast. I can't see this frame really being used in direct combat, but as a terror or intimidation piece to pacify a population? Who built this atrocity of design? It doesn't even have ARMS!'

140mm isn't a caliber that's used anymore, but the British and Japanese did field naval guns during WW2 in that caliber. I had thought it was a tank gun, since I recall an upgunned Abrams with a 140mm autoloading cannon and redesigned turret was being considered during the late '80s.

Basically every time I lose a run it's because either something I didn't expect to explode exploded, or one of my own shots hit a bit of rubble and exploded in my face.
As the length of a run increases the probability of one of these things happening approaches 1.
