In Training posted:I got past it with dark resist AOE yeah, I was trying m def and p def to no avail until I remembered the type specific spells. Also I have the black mage master passive on my buffer that makes all spells AOE by default without lowering g their effectiveness which is baller. that aoe spell passive thing sounds awesome. i always hated having to cast haste individually etc. i returned bravely default due to not really feeling it but the second one seems like i'm going to buy it

spell crafting is so good. Bravely Second is some win but a few bosses are gigantic difficulty spikes.

Second is much easier than the first one but the map is 100% reused assets from the first one and the story isn't any better than 1. But since they just took all the old jobs and added new ones it's even easier to make weirdly broken job combos

Fungah! posted:gently caress thats a badass skill. coming up wth builds in this game is so drat fun, ive got tiz running a bunch of differnt physical classes with triple (eventually quad) wield, barrage, nd the ninja skill that removes the dual wield penalty, he can put out like 12k damage on a 4x brave turn at like level 35 and its only going up from there I hope there's a skill in the last few jobs that lets me break the damage cap, that's my fave upgrade in other FF games. Playing some much FFX that I could one shot the final boss ftw

I'm giving up on Witcher III until I upgrade my PC, made it to Novigrad and things turned into a slideshow. Which is fine cause I've got one and a half Dragon Quest games to keep me warm.
