Now the question is whether it will be Booker or Gillibrand. I'd much prefer Gillibrand, but Booker is very good at shapeshifting so he might come out on top. I don't know if you're joking or not, but in Korea a cease fire was enacted and the US stayed there. In vietnam we left, and the NVA completely conquered South Vietnam. That's what the whole evacuation of Saigon (picture helicopters getting pushed off carrier decks to make more room for incoming birds) was, embassy workers and other people running like gently caress before they were overrun by NVA. The communists completely and totally won

Yeah we completely lost vietnam and ran out. One of my friend's father was one of the people in the iconic escape from Saigon picture. He was a teenager and had been working at the embassy and was given a chance to come back to the states, so he came over with no family or anything, got adopted, and now is a doctor in Daytona.
