So the people in Link's awakening are alive and appear to be self aware. My question is, knowing this and knowing that they'll disappear if the Wind Fish wakes up, is it moral to wake up the Wind Fish?

Tingle wasn't in Twilight Princess? I could swear my daughter just played through the HD remake and he was in it (I never got too far in that one).

Maybe I'm thinking of Majora's Mask though?

Twilight Princess didn't have Tingle, but it had the clown duo Manic and Depressive

I'm looking forward to it because at the end, in a massive twist, it turns out you're not actually playing as Link but as a random dude who had his face surgically altered so the real Link could distract Ganon's forces from his true objective... Outer Hyrule.

So when will the histrionics over spoilers die down? The photos recently linked in this thread have now lead multiple articles referencing the spoilers by name in the article titles whenever you search for the game. The most recent IGN article pretty much reveals everything in the link description in google search.

But they aren't real people with real pasts. The wind fish is a being powerful enough that's its subconscious mind generates the life-like projections of the kinds of people who would worship it. Through this dreamstate, it was able to communicate with Link and help guide him through the trials necessary to wake itself from its slumber. These people feel and look real because otherwise Link would just be cast into a mysterious and vast expanse of wilderness flooded with monsters and dungeons and Link wouldn't have any sense of progression. I'm very interested to see how they handle that feeling in BotW.

Well, it definitely seems like they're experimenting with some changes, which I like. Some stuff'll probably be a little rough around the edges, but it sounds really interesting.
