No. Kingdom Death is a mature game along the lines of mature titles like Game of Thrones and if you can't handle it you're a prude.

Google that poo poo, by default PS4 downloads are incredibly slow but by opening ports or some small setting in the connection options the speed normalizes with everything else. I was frustrated when I bought GTAV and it said the download would finish in like 4 days so I mentioned it here and I was informed of that piece of information.

Anyway, onto less(?) skeevy stuff, I wish I could start more than one plot in Crusader Kings 2. If I want to wipe out an entire family in one fell swoop, I should be able to dagnabbit! Hi, gonna talk more about DX:MD

There's a mission in the second combat/infiltration area where you need to get to an elevator and talk to Cyborg Che Guevara.

That's where the map is telling me to go.

That's what I'm looking at when I get there.

I looked it up and apparently a couple of other people got turned around as well, because up until then I had found ONE elevator that took me all the way up and the path led me to that shaft.

Turns out there was ANOTHER elevator that was on the second floor somewhere but the map is trying to point out the the area above that part.

Waypoints are really hosed in this game, sometimes. It's good when it's good, but there's some poo poo here and there that gets in the way.

I just finished Mankind Divided.

What the hell happened to the plot at the end? It just bottomed out. I thought I took out the first real boss of the game and then I see the title screen and thought 'Why am I seeing this now?' only to have the credits start rolling.

And then the game has a mid-credits stinger like a Marvel film.

And there's no skip credits function.

I just started playing Far Cry 3 again after not touching it for ages shortly after the beginning. The lack of a quick save button is driving me absolutely crazy. I don't even really need it 99.99% of the time, except sometimes the way the game saves checkpoints is just dumb. Example: in the story mission near the beginning where you have to destroy the weapons cache at the lumberyard, I spent like a half hour luring guards out into tigers, stealthily picking people off with a knife, and generally clearing the map without getting spotted. I end up kicking a barrel as I move around and it causes me to get spotted and gunned down. Whatever, it happens.

The game reloads the mission with my character in the same place but all the guards still alive, including some that showed up during the alarm that killed me as reinforcements and apparently decided to stick around when the map reloaded. I managed to get out of it end completed the mission but it was a huge pain in the neck, I was pretty much completely surrounded from the start and had to kite a bunch of guys with rocks so I could get out and start picking them off again. A simple F5 to quick save would have been so nice. :(

They cut MDs story short so they could drag it out to a third game. The third game that would finish the story has been canned due to MDs poor sales. MD sold poorly in part because the story wasn't finished.

There's so many hanging threads in this game it's like a frayed quilt. And there's levels that imply there should have been more content in some places like Palisades or the implication right before the game ends that the next hub in the game was gonna be in London.

I haven't been kind to Human Revolution before, but at least that's a standalone game with a clear beginning, middle, and end.

This game reeks of bad business decisions.

After two games of the Joker as the main villain I was totally into the idea of Black Mask being the big bad, dealing with new baddies (I mean, besides Bane) and exploring new stuff. Then: WHOOPS JOKER THE WHOLE TIME! OH THOSE OTHER KILLERS? EH, SIDE STORIES I GUESS. The Joker origin sequence was legit well done but fuuuuuuuck that bait and switch bullshit.

It was a dumb choice to use the term, and even dumber that they wrung their hands over it.

The issue with the story treating oppression against Augmented people is that it's a clunky analog to real world oppression. Like when people criticize X-Men for the same issues because people should be afraid of people who could kill them outright without effort or control, which is the biggest issue with Augmented people especially after the Incident. It's not hate against a group of people on fundamentally unsound reasoning; it's a paranoid fear that's been proven to be demonstrably true again and again in the setting.

I think it's a story that is worth telling, I just don't think it should liken itself to other civil rights struggles since it's a different issue altogether.

In DE:MD (that's short for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided) Jensen takes trains to different locations. The loading screen shows Jensen getting on the train and the train traveling whereupon he exits. Later in the game Jensen must walk through these tunnels instead of taking the train and the loading screen is him nonchalantly walking in the tunnel. There is a particular quest where A person is in grave danger and Jensen must rush to the rescue. I had to switch locations for this quest. So despite the story coming across as a race against time, Jensen walks through the tunnels at a pace that can only de described as "leisurely." There should have been a loading screen where Jensen is running instead.

Oddly enough Lego Dimensions doesn't do this: they actually got Ian McKellen to record new lines for Gandalf, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy/Wyldstyle, etc. Peter Capaldi is Doctor Who in that expansion (though past Doctors do have recorded lines- which is fair since some of them are no longer with us.)

Not that I'm that fussed either way, and if anything I think it's a bit rich for people to get up in arms about Deus Ex co-opting real world racial issues and applying them to cyborgs when a few months prior Fallout 4 featured a faction called The Railroad who were dedicated to freeing Robot Slaves and nobody said word one about it.

Bethesda isn't claiming to have invented the term, though, nor were they pretending to represent real-life issues. It's a bog-standard "ROBOTS HAVE FEELINGS TOO!" science fiction tale, whereas Deus Ex was constantly nudging us going "makes ya think, huh, huh, huh."
