Looks like if you go into a an unfinished shrine before a blood moon reaches its peak then you beat it, it skips the blood moon and the monsters don't respawn. Neato

Lynel's were literally the first enemy I ran into off the plateau. Walking through a gorge and I see one, wonder how tough it is. I got my answer when it lunged forward 50 feet and pancaked me. Still haven't killed one, though only cause I haven't found any others. As far as I'm concerned Link isn't doing this to save her. He's doing it to become the Barbarian King of Hyrule, Devourer of Bokoblin Guts.

Beat the game leaving some overall tips spoiling them but nothing really story important/that big of a spoiler past the tutorial Do not sell/cook lizards/frogs you will need tons of them for various reasons same with lynel parts Don't push off the Divine Beasts forever especially the bird/zora one, the bird one gives you an ability that makes exploring about a 1000 times easier and the zora one gives you a backup heal which is handy for not losing progress Always have base arrows some shrines require them but will not give you any 4 fairies respawn at the great fairy fountain near kakariko every bloodmoon sneak up and grab them every cycle and you will never die Master sword makes all the dungeons easymode as you get infinite use of it in them so rush that if you don't feel dealing with weapon durability If you need ruppees go to the village hateno up the hill theres a farm with a dude who wants you to kill deer for money, don't bother arrowing the dear either bomb them or use the stealth suit, each deer drops 1-2 meet cook 5 meet at once for 220 rupees you can make about a thousand every 8 minutes doing this.

From what I've seen of the memories, there is at least a point to this iteration of Zelda; She's stuck living in the shadow of her other incarnations and expected to do amazing things like them, but she'd really rather be a scholar. It's why she can sit in the fountains praying and knowing something should happen because she is The Chosen One, the problem is a lack of belief. Link grabbed the Master Sword and all off the bat because he knew exactly what he was gonna do without hesitation; Murder Ganon and anything in front of him with that sword.

my hot lynel tip: do a lotta backflips. anytime he attacks, just perfect backflip over it. never stop. also bring a lotta weapons because i average breaking four over his dumb head, boy's got some strong bones I finally beat my first dungeon tonight and it was Fine. I was glad it was simple and only took like 30 minutes though. Getting out of it was the best part though cause not being able to climb everything was killing me. Also I dunno much this narrative thread continues, but I really like the writing of People being mad at you because you and your team hosed up and died and not only did you fail to save Hyrule from destruction, but you got your friends killed in your attempt and their families and loved ones are really not happy with seeing your just rolled out of bed rear end wander up with no memories

If he sees you, try running away and coming back. The ninja set from Kakariko helps a ton obviously, or you can make food or elixirs that give you sneakiness.

There is definately a way to do it. I tried battling him (no...just. no.) but did the stealth way. The tree at the top has the the most per tree. Also take a picture of him....for reasons.

I enjoy that this game allows you to hunt in creative and fun ways. Why use a bow and arrow when you could instead; -fish by throwing explosives into a river -trample deer with your giant horse to pulverize them into delicious cutlets -glide over a pack of wolves and crush them all by slamming your dragonbone club into the earth

I found that if you find a place with Archers and some good cover, let them keep shooting their infinite arrows at you. Chances are most of them are just going to get stuck in the ground or nearby walls so you can just hide and collect as they try and hit you over and over. It becomes boring fast though.

I feel like such a clever bastard figuring out some of these more obscure shrines. The feeling that I accomplished it on my own with some of these is amazing, most games can't help but hold your hand through everything, being given a chance to just feel things out on your own just feels super good. I understand where people are coming from, wanting them to condense shrines into big dungeons like in the old games, but I feel like their bite-sized nature really allowed Nintendo to experiment with a billion different puzzle types that would be hard to contextualize in a full dungeon. Plus the ones where the puzzle is simply uncovering them are great. On the other hand, was I the only one that felt that the Rito part of the plot was kinda... Rushed as hell? I'd done Zora and Goron before and while the Goron stuff wasn't AS in-depth and cool as the Zora stuff, it still felt more like something had happened than the Rito. I hear the Gerudo have a pretty cool one too.
