also, does the combat get good at some point in ME2? Or is it a wonky cover shooter with wonkier squad controls the whole time? If I gotta work for Space Hitler, at least let it be some amount of fun. oh, and sending someone to their death as an incorrect choice for an ending isn't quite "throwing these people who think working for the Illusive Man is a good idea into space."

Guys. The game doesn't need to be "good". It Needs, however, to be fun. If it's fun, then is worth the timesink. Combat looks dynamic enough (smart cover could screw things but the jury isn't out yet), lots of gear to choose from, and a (probably) healthy multiplayer. U$ 40.00 is a fair price imo.
