Yeah thanks everyone, we've got a goofy long list of achievements now. We are erring on the side of too many because some I'm sure just won't make it because we'll discover belatedly that x or y seems simple but isn't, so we'll chuck that one. But we should have a nice set of the loadout cheevos, as well as nice other little nuggets to get people to finally look at the loving settings menu

If yes, I'll have to uninstall/reinstall so I can unlock them naturally. StrixNebulosa fucked around with this message at 04:53 on Mar 18, 2017 |

I think I found the fastest route to Destination hosed: That northern spawnpoint in Gasworks... holy gently caress. Even without a massive Corvid mob, your only cover is a bunch of high-explosives. And you're surrounded by idiots who will happily shoot them for you. Good luck! I hope this map gets expanded in the patch. It's a good one, and I actually like how hard it is because it's so densely-packed with enemies, but that northern spawn especially needs a bit more non-exploding cover, and having the district walls scooted up a dozen or so tile spaces would help a lot.

News at 11: Buff Skeleton wants something less difficult! Bystanders suspect robot, or possibly necromancy. (I'm sad I missed the cheevo naming session)

Vehicles I want to see as makeshift murder machines: A Tuk Tuk A reliant Robin A NOD style motorcycle with two small gun hardpoints. Make it happen or I will rate your game 4 out of 5 stars.

# ? Mar 19, 2017 13:27 |
The varlet should satisfy your dreams of tuktuk and robin combat, the troubadour is the motorbikiest thing around I think. I had to google the reliant robin. I kept coming back to riding the Boy Wonder, which would both be hard to animate and NSFW.

Reliant Robin YES, but only if making a hard turn causes it to flip over, and you can't right yourself unless you shoot into the ground point-blank. That or you get kicked by a mech. [Edit] And it packs a Main mount, and flips over if you fire it any direction other than straight ahead. And sometimes even then Buff Skeleton fucked around with this message at 15:10 on Mar 19, 2017 |

Firing the gun sideways or making a fast turn should make your Robin tumble in one direction and become a weapon itself. You take a bad corner and suddenly your Reliant crashes through the next housingblock, destroys a mech, squishes multiple people before coming to a stop in the nearest field. Tumbling is proportional to speed or calibre of gun fired. If you do both at the same time you can roll over the entire map.

Now I'm curious... If you strapped a pilot seat to a Konig, how much Delta-V would the contraption have? Could you actually fly? And if so, for how long? (obviously until the ammo runs out, but if firing even a short burst imparts significant momentum to the assembly, one could ... burst hop for quite a while.)

how soon until we get a really slow, really fragile power suit with a heavy mount?

I don't think it'd be worth it to build, maybe it's that guy-who-wants-to-replace-the-Touro's pet project though. Maybe it's small enough to be an easy cloak, replacing the melee cuz honestly it's a cheapass minimech that can barely walk, but gets to mount a second defense.

the relaunch is probably going to be called brigador redux. it doesnt pump my nads but i cant think of an alternative that doesnt get into poo poo that sounds like a sequel, or too cute by half. redux says exactly what it is. any other ideas?

Brigador: Great Leader Edition is pretty solid in my opinion. You can always stick to "Gold Edition", "Enhanced Edition", "Extended Edition", etc. Redux sounds like a remastered version with cut content, yeah. Brigador: Warcrimes Edition is my favourite of the bunch, if a little bit on the nose.

Second Night or Night 2 makes it sound like a sequel Personally I like Great Leader Edition because it references the fluff and clearly indicates it's a new and enhanced edition of the same game.
