I rewatched the 1st season a few weeks ago and yeah they were fantastic. "I hate that word! Deal..." "There is no money" Mrs. Kettleman was a complete lunatic.

I do kind of want to see what happened to the Kettlemans, even though it's implied that they finally took the deal and dumb husband went to minimum-security prison. Also this show has a lot of comedy in it but it still needs to find its roof pizza moment.

Season One is pretty funny throughout, I'm rewatching it as we speak. Hell even when Tuco is threatening murder it keeps being funny. "Operation Kingbreaker? That makes ME the king!" The "petty with a prior" prosecutor, the Kettleteam, Mike and his stickers, Jimmy's office, "cucumber water for customer only!" I definitely don't read this as darker than BB, my friend's dad said it was and it baffled me.
