The really sad thing about this whole situation is that even with this big opportunity to derail a hard brexit, the left will likely not be able to pull together enough to mount a decent opposition because of stupid loving infighting. Love or loath Corbyn, you would think that the bigger picture would actually be the one that matters but it the sad truth is that people are still far too ready to cut their nose off to spite their face.

It matters that he points out he will fight the Tories on the single most attention-grabbing policy issue at the moment, so that he gets a majority and can just ignore Tory idiocy on all other issues that he actually cares more about.

Only an 18 point lead, already looking better for Corbyn. Is there any resource to show who would loose seats if the current polling turned into reality (assuming nation swing), as got a feeling a lot of the more left wing younger Labour MP's are in unsafe seats. Lewis is in one, but he is against the Lib Dems and has been vocal against BREXIT so could well keep his seat.

Yeah, because "more money for us, gently caress you" is a very simple and unifying message, while "we will improve everyone's lives and build a great society by focusing specifically on [pick one from an endless list of pet issues frequently requiring ideological purity and/or mutually-contradictory fixes]" isn't.

I realise it's almost certainly going to be tory majority but I do wonder what would happen in a hung parliament situation. I can't see the lib dems forming a coalition with the conservatives seeing how being against brexit is their main thing at the moment. I mean, they probably would anyway but if not I really don't know what coalition could even be formed.

Since Britain is populated mostly by total retards that reliably vote for the stupidest most self-destructive option possible, I'm just hoping Britain's downfall will be as entertaining as possible before I leave the place. Labour continuing to tear itself apart instead of providing even a token opposition will be entertaining. Sorry non-retarded Brits.
