The character creation is such a freaking good idea and I love the way they picked an obvious nerdy teenager self insert to show it off. Legit might get Forces now, which will be my first Modern Sonic game.

Weird that they went for wolf over fox- the fact that fox is missing makes me hopefully think there's some more choices to come If only because I want to be a bat I hope there's body mods as well, it's weird seeing such a lanky character. God I'm so relieved that Sonic Mania is coming out. If Sonic Forces was the only next Sonic game in sight... I mean, it is the Sonic Cycle happening before our eyes. But there's Sonic Mania on the horizon, so all's good.

Hot take: sonic dies/betrays you at the end of the game and sonic forces 2 has your OC rebuild the resistance from scratch and it jumps off straight into a reboot of Saints Row Edit: your character better be named something like Omar Coolguy if you catch my drift (only smart posters will get this)

My 8 year old self would have lost his goddamn mind over this. I will buy it for him. Also, I love making OCs in existing franchises, like in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse games. It's fanfictiony as all hell, but goddamn is it fun.

Also this game looks ridiculous but this is what lots of people want and if it's Generations 2 + your OCs it's going to be good for much of the fandom. Just imagine people dragging their switches everywhere to show their friends their OCs. beep by grandpa showing up at your house to show you his OC, beep by wolfpaw.
