I did get Jason yesterday and the points for it, because it was almost a perfect survivor round. I look up the controls for his weapons and start cursing the throwing knife key. Why that button? I was lucky to telefrag a guy because he jumped through a window, twice. Three minutes into the round and a car is going. I try to teleport and it wouldn't let me. The boundary was a short drive from the car and a massive road leading out behind it. That fooled me. I dropped traps at both cars, but went to the wrong spot, giving them time to escape. I killed two more people around the other car, but they still drove off when they scattered and I was recharging very slowly. Not even getting the kool-aid man skill.

You can check the minimap to see this visually; when you make noise, a circle will appear around the chevron that represents you. AJ will practically never make noise. Also correct: Your current fear level determines whether or not Jason can see you light up on sense. Precisely how scared or not-scared you need to be depends on the Jason - some of them have stronger senses than others. The Jason Part 3 (the one with the axe) that everyone is currently using has a weaker sense. AJ again handles fear better than most due to her high composure, so if you get in a lit cabin and keep her flashlight on during transit, she'll stay pretty calm and be much, much harder to track.

I was driving a car with a fellow player in the passenger seat. He is looking at the map telling me when to turn as I'm reversing the car down a long narrow road. "Hey, try turning around the car so you don't have to reverse." "Ok!" *Proceeds to somehow glitch the car and make it flip over upside down, putting us outside the now useless car* I tried saving the clip on Ps4 but it didn't for some reason.

My favorite moment so far has been playing Part 6 Jason against a Tommy who had only played against Part 3 Jasons apparently. Dude started running around a Crystal Lake sign thinking he could outrun me in a circle forever. I calmly placed down a trap. He ran into it and I got him with a throwing knife. Placing traps outside windows is also hella satisfying. I think the big thing I didn't really get was how to use shift. I was mostly using it as a teleportation tool when it works better when you're in ranger to catch up for a quick kill. PSN: TimelessAppeal if anyone wants to do a private match. I suck at this game but whatever.

Managing to sneak out of a Cabin as a raged powered Jason is tearing through wall after wall has to be the most pants making GBS threads inducing I've done in this game. Crouch walking as you just hear walls splintering and you can see him slightly through the cracks in the planks was terrifying

I have played Jason exactly once. It was a Goon Game, and I think I did pretty well. The only method of escape that anyone got to use was the boat and one of them died doing it. I killed three others and kept the phone and cars on lockdown. Time ran out for the other four though because they wouldn't make a play and I'm STILL convinced the son of a bitch in that on cabin was just loving with me and I was absolutely not going to play that game. Basically I do very well against aggressive players if that was any indication. Players who hole up and hide are on my poo poo list because I cannot be bothered to gently caress with them.

It's fantastic how much people panic and just do everything to help you kill them. I feel that'll all change the more people play the game and I'll have to actually get good at Jason, but for now it's always a bloodbath.

PSA FOR THOSE EXPERIENCING DATABASE ISSUES: A workaround is as follows: Setup a 2nd STEAM account and enable game sharing between the primary and this one, STEAM should automatically pick up on it being the same computer. Viola! Problem solved, welcome to level 1 again, however.

Got to play as Jason, was pretty fun. Took me a little while to get used to the controls, but I went 4/6 with 2 people escaping via boat. I got 2 grab kills which was cool.

I've only played as Jason once, but when I did I got 8/8 kills. I think what threw people off was that I intentionally targeted groups of 2, 3, or 4 over individual stragglers. Seemed to surprise people.

Hahaha I got lucky and found the boat, propeller, and a gas can all pretty close together at the start. So I just fixed the boat myself and escaped alone less than five minutes into the match  The other counselors weren't too happy.

I would legit drop another 15 bucks each if they came out with a leatherface/tcsm and Freddy Kruger/nmoes game versions. Same premise, just different villians, different locations. Would make it sooooo cool

I think what REALLY annoys me about games dropping is I'd be playing as Part 2 Jason already if those countless sessions hadn't shat themselves. Playing as Part 2 Jason... So the game could poo poo itself on me playing as HIM as well.
