I've been playing a lot of the Wipeout collection this week and it's really good but man it makes me appreciate all the goofy characters in F-Zero. The gameplay is great/I'm having a lot of fun but it feels kind of soulless i miss my boys beastman/the skull

In comparison to F-Zero where we only have the supposedly nefarious EAD development group.

When I read that they used e3 to promote it, I was expecting more than a montage. Doesn't excuse the dev by any means but it's like...well, touching a hot stove is better than getting lit on fire

Yeah there's the different companies like Feisar/AG Systems/Qirex and some neat flavour text in the description of each machine but I guess I wish they did more with it (But I'm still on Wipeout 2048, maybe it's different in HD/Fury) But then I also kind of enjoy that the game is just racing without anything getting in the way so idk what I want

So hey, what's everybody up to today? I finished up all the planning stuff for my fiancee's surprise birthday party. A friend helped me get her some gifts. I wish I could have gotten some more but I'm sure she'll like what she's got coming her way. Got myself into Stardew Valley. Having fun managing my farm. Mostly working. Managed to get my boss to agree to let me work 1 hour less each day with the same pay. Don't know how I pulled this off but it somehow worked.

For whatever reason I always saw it as a profile view, the green bit on the right being the nose, the green at the left being an antenna, the blue line closest to the left being an ear, and the blue closest to the right being his only visible eye.

Anyways, my plans for the day are to go to my local cinema and see the new Alien movie and then see the Sony Press Conference. Will today be a day of joy, horrible disappointment or and interesting combination of both? Only time will tell!
