You're going up against a rookie whose struggled in every start this year and a second year player who has also struggled all year.

Congratulations on your sweep.

8 of those were the top 3 in the lineup

This is very 2016

It's rough when you've seen a team be garbage for a decade and then they're finally really good and you get your hopes way up and then they just turn to poo poo

Get better soon Keuchel and McCullers and Morton and McHugh

I think the Yankees bullpen is worse than the Tigers. Also I think it's Girardi and Cashman's fault for deciding to give Chad Green that spot start to give Tanaka an extra day off - should have just used an actual starter in the minors instead. Bullpen has been overworked since that point.

How does that even work? If any team had the right to believe that something could go wrong in their title run until pitchers and catchers reported to the next Spring Training, without any grief being visited on them for it, it'd have been the Cubs.

Oh right, sports fans are sports fans.

To be fair, any team with Mr. McGibblets posting for it deserves to get poo poo.

It's cool how when the Jays started to get a little momentum and make it a one run game they immediately poo poo out a few errors and give up more runs

Tanaka just gave up his 19th homerun of the year to the leadoff batter of the A's. Looks like it's gonna be another one of those days.

Matt Adams has a homer, 2 doubles, and 4 RBI today; that second double was almost a second and game-tying homer.

Seriously, the word was that he could be a bench bat when Freddy comes back but he is hitting way too good for that.
