Exactly, but again this would be a terrible idea unless Friends emit some kind of pacifying aura or pheromone that also works on dinosaurs. That first chase scene sets the entire tone and expectation of the series. I'd argue that without it being exactly like it is, this show may not have taken off as well as it did.
