2003 Tacoma 4x4 special HOWDY DOODY yall, My dad's Taco is having issues, the hubs for the front cv's have probably poo poo them selves. We diagnosed this dilemma following this theory: If the front hubs are shot, and if we raise the rear axle so there is no ground contact with the wheels, the truck should remain stationary since the hubs wont engage. I was right, the TC works fine, the cv axles spin, but the wheels wont engage. SO, I am wanting to convert these loving things to manual hubs. With that being said, Is it worth it? What would be the price? How hard would this be?
