Specifically, the reason Stay/Night's Masters are such a mishmash is that, after the genocidal clusterfuck of Zero, very few real magi are ready to risk it. Definitely read Stay/Night before watching Zero though. It spoils a lot of Stay/Night, as you would expect from a prequel, but it also expects viewers to know a few key worldbuilding points from Stay/Night. fate/zero is also worse than stay/night and not as interesting or complex, imo, it's just kinda bad things happening to a bunch of people you don't care about and a couple of people you do but it mostly focuses on the people you don't iskander and waver are cool tho

liz has a super weak np and her stats aren't that much better than cu's, and she lacks survivability compared to him since she only has battle continuation. her gimmick is her 40% attack buff to female servants and her defense debuff - she's a support lancer.

Waver and Iskander are basically carrying the whole thing on their backs but I feel for the Matou guy. Zero is mostly nice because of the fighting scenes.

In gacha, we are all equal. This game does a horrible number on my cellphone. I had to get a new case because my old one would just cause my phone to overheat when I played this for too long. e-Holy poo poo got the most pumped newbie roll which had Berserker, d'eon and martha. I mean, I'm not typically one for spending money on Free-To-Play stuff anyway, but yeah, the exchange rate is pretty bad - and all that for the opportunity to maybe roll the servant you want. I think I'll be fine sticking with quest quartz, login bonuses, and friendship points. Got my two-star Andersen that way and he's been my MVP in several battles already.

They did one for new years and anniversary in JP. you can only used paid quartz on them though. (the free bonus quartz on purchases doesn't count, either  )

herc blasts through a lot of things, though later on he needs support like hans, shielder, etc. but lemme put it this way: my team for the final boss of story mode in the jp version was waver/hans/support hercules/asterios/shielder/paracelsus (a later 3* caster with the ability to give guts to another party member), and the entire strategy was everyone else blocking bullets for hercules and shoving buffs down his mouth Endorph fucked around with this message at 00:40 on Jul 8, 2017 |
