Midtown Manhattan / Central Park is insane, raids feel like they're solo because you don't even really have to check if there's enough people, you just jump in and between the crowds of players and spoofers it's a breeze. I did four in a row and each one took a couple minutes total, no waiting.

People just act way too rushed when catching the legendaries. Like the whole group will be ready to move on to the next raid while I still have 5+ balls to throw. There's literally no time limit on the catching part so just try to use as much time as possible to make sure you actually land your curved throws.

Everyone walks or caravans away from raids while I'm hanging out on like the second throw. Which amusingly means the second group of people only come over because they think I'm the first there. Then they form their own group while I am still there... well I caught it twice out of 8 times

Probably start spawning globally in 3 hours just like nest rotations.

Supposedly the Moltres change is as 5PM PDT which is still like 2 hours away? People were saying it was gonna be 1AM our time which doesn't even matter because raids won't be up til tomorrow morning anyway.

I just got back from another Articuno raid (CAUGHT IT) and yeah, the gym control bonus didn't work despite Mystic owning the gym. So dumb it's spotty.

Got my 2nd Lugia after work today. Moltres getting announced today got people out in force. There were 3 full groups for the 2 lugia spawns at the park by where I live.

I might try to see if my Kindle fire tablet can handle pogo and put my alt on that, share wifi and have him help. best case eventually me/wife/alt can take down ttars. gently caress grouping up when I have a toddler to deal with. even worse the densest places (Chicago's loop, times square etc) have such horrible drift and crashing issues it's not worth raiding there either due to the frustration.

I had my first spoofer battle last night. I took the dog out for a late night stroll, and knocked over the closest gym, just after midnight. I put my Mon in the gym, and just as I was walking off, I got a "your dude needs attention" message. I pulled up the gym, and my guy was already at half health. Nobody was around either, so unless there was someone wearing a ghillie suit in the bushes, I had a spoofer on my hands. He kicked out my guy and reclaimed the gym. So I knocked him out, and took it back. Rinse and repeat. After the 3rd time of me kicking his guy out, he spoofed off elsewhere. I noticed his name on a few different gyms around me. Is there anything to be done about this, or is there no point, because lol Niantic?

If they have any plans to deal with spoofers, they have yet to make that public. They get plenty of purchases from spoofers, so who knows if Niantic even wants to deal with them.

I'm sure the weekend was best but on a nice day like today I bet there were tons of people in Central Park. I met a few nice tourists too  Really it's amazing though it just feels like free wins. But as far as the special balls go I get reamed for being instinct here, usually no more than six balls at a time.

Today was a great day. Went 2/2 Articuno during the day. Then Moltres comes out and went 3/4, 86% was the best. The finished going 1/1 on a Lugia.
