I've been traveling in the UK for the last couple of weeks, so we boarded the land mammals at a place up the road from where we live. They're super nice and very good with the animals. We got this email from the place today: "Tycho seemed to have so much fun while he was here! He loved getting to be with all the other dogs and really enjoyed curling up with staff during group. He ate his food when he seemed interested and seemed very healthy throughout his stay here with only an occasional bout of limping. Tycho also did very well for his nail trim/bath!  Refurb unfortunately wasn't very happy with her stay here We were unable to let her out of her condo due to her becoming upset when anyone would come near her condo. Due to this, we were also unable to complete her nail trim. She got comfortable enough to start eating almost full meals a few days into her stay. Although she couldn't go out and roam the room, she seemed very content when left alone in her condo!" (The limping is Tycho having some irritation on his foot, I think he got a bug bite and chewed on it a lot)

So, the boarding place's cat room is through a glass door off the main office. When we were waiting for them to get Dogface, I looked into the cat room. They had hung a blanket over half of Refurb's cage, probably because she was hissing and screaming at anyone who entered the room. I suddenly see her jam her face around the blanket, against the cage, looking dead at me and just  When they opened the cage, she basically leapt up into my shoulders and purred like a maniac
