Earlier this week I started experiencing a little back pain which I thought was just from me sleeping wrong. After 2 days it'd increased to the point I was in constant, near excruciating pain from shoulders to knees and the immediate care people said there was a non-zero chance it was meningitis and to get to the ER. Fortunately it wasn't meningitis and the doc didn't see it necessary to do a lumbar puncture ( ) ; Unfortunately he also had no idea what was wrong with me. All the tests came back OK and x-rays were clear, so who knows where this rapidly developing horror pain came from. All he could offer is some Vicodin to quell the pain enough that I could actually sleep for more than 1-2 hours a day (total, not in a row) and told me to follow up with my GP in a few days if it's not better. Never having taken it before, I was not prepared for how incredibly loopy it made me. I also was not prepared for how much greater petting cats apparently is. My friend Kristen absolutely loves the ham cat and I sent her approximately 20-25 snapchats of me petting/playing with Tallulah over the course of 4-5 hours. I think I saved some, but I have no idea how to turn snapchats into gifs and they all in the dreaded vertical angle anyways. Its warmed up a bit in here so they're just out and about pestering me for food now! They're not huge on cuddling. They'll happily sit next to me but they will only put up with cuddles for a tiny bit, and lap time even less. Synthbuttrange fucked around with this message at 06:18 on Sep 2, 2017 |
