Season 8 episode 9, the one where Stan tries to save up to join a golf club, Hulk Hogan, and things get too spicy for the pepper

I completely forgot Bordertown even existed. Did that even get a full season? The animation looked awful.

It got a half-season (13 episodes). I made it through about 30 seconds into the first one.

It seems like a longer season because of the weird scheduling TBS had with American Dad

I will not shut up about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I talk about them all the time and work them into every conversation I have. I built a shrine in my room for the yellow one who died because sadly no one noticed because she died around 9/11. Wanna see it?

I'm still not sure if they're trying to kill it off entirely. The scheduling is beyond poo poo. There was what, like 3 month gap before christmas or something?

It's renewed and it gets good ratings. I don't know why TBS would be dumping it intentionally.

Honestly, I think Turner figures the money's not really coming from premieres of their shows as much as it comes from reruns and streaming deals. This is the same network that basically dumped all of a critically acclaimed show, Search Party, at once, and still renewed it.

The odd scheduling may be due to them wanting to bank new episodes of AD for the purposes of using it as a lead-in to other series. They seem to run it when they also have new episodes of Angie Tribeca or whatever else.

I don't know, it still doesn't seem that bad compared to say, Bob's Burgers. It's holding down the post-NFL/NASCAR death slot like AD previously did.

It was definitely him, and I spent the whole episode waiting for the credits to confirm my suspicion. He's actually really good at hiding his voice when he does VO work. Some actors don't bother masking their voice much, but he's pretty darn versatile.

Now that you mention it, the entire latest season of The Detour was available on the app by at least the time the first three episodes had aired on TV, because I marathoned the whole season in two days and thought the whole thing had already aired. When I noticed a month later that the last 3 episodes hadn’t aired yet, I thought it was just a glitch, but maybe it was intentional.

you could imagine this convo

"why do you still pay for the newspaper instead of reading the news online?"
"Probably because I prefer the feel of a real newspaper."

and that makes sense

and if you say
"Why did you pull me over?"
"Probably because I prefer the feel of a real newspaper."

it's funny because the answer has nothing to do with the question and doesn't make sense
