There was a period for a while there where GSP couldn't do his flip, and honestly, some people thought he never would again.

I am Otis posted:I have a feeling Bisping is gonna kick his rear end and it'll be ugly Is GSP today a better wrestler than roided up chael? Is GSP as powerful a striker as Dan Henderson or Anderson Silva? I don't know that the answer to either of those is yes, and in fact, I'd say it's really no to both. GSP was never huge at 170 anyways and he is going to be a lot smaller than Bisping. I can't think of a single area that GSP clearly outclasses any of Bisping's toughest opponents. Bisping is going to clown him.

He's better at blending his wrestling with his striking better than any of those dudes. If GSP is going to win it'll be with his timing takedowns off of his and/or Bisping's strikes. There's probably nobody as good at that aspect than maybe Mighty Mouse.

GSP won't gas like Chael and also has a much more explosive and dynamic shot than Chael.

So does anyone think the line will move in GSP's favor? I want to bet 5k on Bisping at+115 but if that line moves I might miss out on some good underdog betting. Think I should bet it now or wait? I shut down a 5/10 home game last night after i rivered a straight flush on Omaha and busted 4 people so now I have money burning a hole in my pocket.

i'd be surprised if the lines moved at all from where they are because in my eyes it's spot on, and i'm not sure how big a gambling country canada is but i'd honestly be surprised if the line did move and it didn't favor gsp. i'm sure i don't need to tell you that you absolutely should not listen to me on this subject, but if i were you i'd bet now and if his odds get significantly better put another bet on him closer to the fight.

I got $100 on a Bisping/Joanna parley at +165. I would have thought Joanna would have been in the order of Mighty Mouse against Ray Bort (MM is a -1250 favourite) but she's only -400. Weird to me because I think Thug Rose has even less for Joanna than Kowalkiewicz had at 205, and that was around the odds they gave for her then.

Here is what I have for tonight so far I might add more based on college football Saturday. I have been killing it with the O/U's in the baseball playoffs so I am gonna bet more than usual. Update that spreadsheet weird dude. 5k on Derrick Lewis @ +190 2k on DJ to win by KO, TKO or DQ @ +220 2k on Tony Ferguson to win by submission @ +290 10k on Tony ferguson @ -270 1k parlay on Lewis, DJ and Ferguson that pays like 3k.

The heavyweight fight shuffle erased like all of my bets after the early prelims (I had bets on Lewis and Harris in their original fights by TKO/KO/DQ), but I'm still in on Mighty Mouse finishing Borg in the third round at +600.

Yeah a few hours before the event he pulled out, his old back injury was aggravated. Probably would have been the same outcome we saw, but still.

don't know who the guy fighting face shoe on the undercard is but he's a massive underdog and face shoe isn't that good. i'll be spacing out my money on maia, machida, and miller. all are underdogs and i think there's value there.

I agree that Maia and Machida look interesting. Covington may try to wrestle Maia and get subbed and Brunson looked like poo poo against the ghost of Silva. Also, Brazilian judges.

I have some money on Maia as well. I just don't see Covington doing anything other than being a wrestler and that seems like suicide vs Maia.

I'm starting to think a Machida/Maia might be a with a twenty buck parlay. But I'm literally having my worst betting run since 2012. What's the worse that could happen!? Edit : Has Jim Miller turned into an old timey ghost? He is at about 3 to 1 under. Feels weird. Captain Log fucked around with this message at 23:01 on Oct 28, 2017 |
