I got a bottle of 47 monkeys for my birthday and it makes the best gin and tonic. That stuff is so medicinal it probably cures cancer. Also I've said it before and I'll say it again: put vermouth in your martinis. If you want to drink straight gin that's fine just stop pretending it's a martini.

because they're not goony enough to eat unsauced pasta

You put the sauce on top of the pasta though? Pasta goes on plate, sauce goes on top.

Also pasta does actually taste nice though I appear to be alone in this belief among my peers. Everyone else acts like it's disgusting which makes me wonder why they eat it with sauce on it instead of something else entirely.

It's not feasible in every recipe, but usually the best thing to do with pasta is move it straight from the water into the sauce, bringing along some of the starchy pasta water with it, then finish cooking the noodles in the sauce.

I mean, sauce ladled onto plain pasta is fine, but you're just eating two foods that happened to be stacked on top of each other.

depends on the recipe really. carbonara uses the heat of the pasta to cook the sauce so you can't really skip the pan

Okay so I dump the pasta out in the sink, then use the colander feet to mix it with sauce, and then scoop it up onto a plate, correct?

No you plug the drain and eat it directly out of the sink using the colander as a scoop. Then when you're done you can lifehack the remains directly into the garbage disposal

If we're still on drinks the worst cocktail I ever had is definitely the bullshot. It's cold canned beef broth and vodka. It was apparently popular in the sixties because people considered it healthy for some reason. I ended up drinking one sip and throwing the rest away. It tasted almost as bad beer.

Turns out beef broth isn't too dissimilar from those "activated protein enzyme" protein shots, just with more poo poo like salt thrown in. So basically you were having the 1960s equivalent of a protein powder screwdriver. Honestly, it sounds like it would taste like someone vomming last night's beef jerky into your mouth. :barf:

Ignoring the probable spunk, I assume that's vodka sauce, in which card loving would mate. Vodka sauce is the best.
