Other than that, it looks great.

Stark white daylight bulbs for me. Of course, it doesn't help that the previous owner painted all the walls piss yellow and it just looked even more like rear end when the seller installed yellow bulbs, prior to repainting literally every guest I had cringed when they crossed the threshold.

The one in the picture is this $30 number, which has vastly exceeded my expectations for the price:

It looks taller in the picture than it actually is; I'm 6'00", and the top of the monitor display in the picture is at eye level if I'm sitting up straight.

The recommended angle to sit at to aid the back is 135 degrees. If he sits like that and keeps his head against the chair, that'd be about where you would want a monitor.

But he's already said he that it's even where he sits up straight. But something to think about.

If you're not striving to improve, you'll end up going backwards.
Can anyone recommend a really sturdy desk to support 2-3 27" monitors on brackets? Preferably wooden

In theory if your posture is right the top of the monitor should be eye level. I usually have mine just above eye level but i dont think i have good posture and i prefer to look up slightly

My go to for this would be an office furniture supplier and some kind of cantilever design. They're not exactly characterful, but you can get decent enough wood finishes.

I have a 2 metre one that was supporting 2x 20s and a 30, which were weighty old Dell Ultrasharps.

I have a 48" adjustable Gladiator workbench that supposedly supports 3000 pounds. Makes for a good sitting or standing desk depending on your mood. 2 27" monitors will reach across it end to end, and they make a 60" one that might hold 3 27" screens. I'm really happy with it

Wow, yea that's really pricy! Are they really smooth to type on or something? With import fees to Norway and stuff that would probably total closer to 350 usd for me. I am nowhere near good enough at esports video games to justify that :v:
