Burying AMac doesn't really do much for the flyers at this point, unfortunately. There's not a lot you can do with the guy other than pray someone's dumb enough to trade for him.

E: Plus personnel decisions on who goes to the Phantoms is probably more a Hextall decision than Hak's, and I'd rather Morin get playing time somewhere rather than sitting in a press box. I get the feeling he was always set to be headed back until Ghost's injury at the end of the preseason.

Hakstol could stop giving him 20 minutes a game. That would be a start.

I don't know how normal it is but my hotel at Pittsburgh this year for game 5 of the SCF was cheap as gently caress. It was only 100$ a day for a stay at the Westin which was right downtown. Between that and the ticket itself only being like 250$ it was pretty cheap all in all for a Cup finals game.

And it helps that that was the best game I've personally been to :toot:. If you can afford to go to a finals game and get the chance definitely do it. The atmosphere at them is fuckin' awesome.

Yeah the bell centre cup finals would behahahahahaaaha sorry i couldnt say that with a straight face

This will definitely fix the fact you're giving significant minutes to Karl Alzner and Jordie Benn by default, because you literally have no one else.

this is a great deal all told. SS&E who basically control all but one SA sports team and have loads of cash do the money, marketing, etc. while hopefully Berube gets put back behind the AHL bench and continues his good dev record. plus I've heard good things about the new Coast league affiliation with Tulsa. feels good to be happy about things the Blues are doing.

He always looks completely loving lost to me. Every time they cut to him I swear he's got this wide eyed look that makes me think his internal monologue is just "whoa, what is even going on right now..." on repeat.

Seriously just GIS him and look at every picture of him behind the bench.

One of Morin, Sanheim or Hagg was bound to be sent down.

While in this case it involves AMac, I think the issue is they want to give the rookies more sheltered minutes. And Sanheim and Hagg looked fine last game to me, but I guess there's been a few flubs.

Personally, I both expect a ton of rookie mistakes this year; and I would be more ok with Sanheim for instance making a fuckup and hopefully learning from it than AMac making he same dumb mistakes. But that isn't in the cards. If AMac is an Alt Captain on the road, he isn't getting sent down.

The Flyers are getting exciting though. Think about it, who on the team is anyone bitching about as "shouldn't be there" beyond Weisse and AMac? Overall, the team should be way more competitive this year than last year.

I haven't been posting about hockey for a bit, due to a change in job during the season, and then the season being over by the time I was working normal hours again.

However, it is nice to see that Andrew MacDonald is still the biggest problem the Flyers have on their hands.
